American Sexuality, The Bitter Pill
Bitter pill? Yep I said it. It will not be the first time and it most definitely will not be my last. Let me preface this diary entry with I am not in a foul mood nor is anything going on in my life to prompt this. I have been reading some great articles and have watched some interesting TV shows, and I always seem to end up annoyed… and here is why. This will be nothing new to you guys, but I am going to say it again anyway. What do you right wing christian conservatives really want? For that matter let me not leave out anyone. The conservatives just yell the most obnoxiously. I mean, public television is blasting the viewership with sexually charged programming and commercials, our music is erotic in many ways, our clothing is sexy and so on and so forth. Why? Well helloooooo all we are sexual beings. Born this way, and mind you this is a GOOD thing. Why in the world are so many people opposed to human beings expressing what is the most natural trait about us? TV and music follow this pattern because we respond to it. It is natural and effective. Yes some self control needs to be implemented. Remember a time and a place. But seriously, unless you are that insecure and pissed off about the poor choices you have made in your life…..why all the bitterness and actual hatred towards people who embrace their sex lives and enjoy them? Shame on you na sayers who cloud the happiness of those who have actually found it, happiness. That really is what it comes down to. If you have a shit sex life and don’t like the way you look or feel, you want everyone to be miserable with you. Not gonna happen crabby asses. Life is good. Sex is wonderful, and when handled with care and communication ones sex life can take life from good to exceptional.
