Are you kidding me?
I am not sure if you guys will agree with me on this or not but I just have to say something. I was watching FOX news the other night and I starred in amazement at the sheer lack of common sense and the evil judgmental attitudes displayed by a few of the hosts of the show. Yes I do watch Bill O’Riley and yes I have love hate relationship with him. The world would be a boring place if we all saw eye to eye on things, and I do welcome healthy debate but this was just wrong. One of the Cheetah Girls (Disney girl band) singer has been found in “compromising” nudie pics on the web (that has never happened before). Forgive me for forgetting her name but this guest on FOX proceeds to go off on the gorgeous 25 year old singer proclaiming how dare she pose in this manner, little girls look up to her. She then makes a very snide remark that “well if she needs to put filthy pictures of herself on the web to further her career, whatever”. Her word “filthy”. You tell me…a very beautiful 25 year old woman posing in sexy lingerie, Filthy? really? I think someone has some personal issues to deal with and the poor Cheetah girl is feeling the speakers wrath. Hateful jealous people I say. And as far as being in a Disney band? She is 25 and still a woman, not just a girl in a teenie band. They have grown up for crying out loud. The bigger issue here is what the hell would a little Cheetah girl fan be doing on website that would hosts such images?
Then….same show….they show a video of a woman teaching her little girl some pretty grown up comments regarding Obama. Most of you have probably seen this by now. Do I feel a Mom should teach a 3 year old swear words or political slang? no I do not. However to suggest she may need to have her baby taken away for her strong opinions, are you fucking kidding me? O’Riley suggested along with the guests agreement that the woman in the video needs to be found and investigated. What for! For freedom of speech? To me this is a scary deal. A woman speaks her mind, thought be in front of her baby, now she is unfit? Unwise….yes. Have her baby take away, WHAT? As if there are not millions of parents who have “misspoken” or had conversations in front of their children that were not exactly child proof. What is the government going to do, take all those kids away? I am sure those children would row up way more happy and productive being raised in government institutions.
ok I am done ranting, LOL! It does make me sad and turn my stomach to think of how far we have not come in this world with particular freedoms. Sometimes feel like we are going back wards. As for me? I will keep on keeping and continue to fight the good fight. This is still America and I love it. Now I am going to go find some porn and calm myself down, because I can *wink*
