For the most part I have been in the office doing all the paper work (per se). It is amazing to me how the simplest acts of kindness can brighten a persons day. I was in line at the grocery store. I literally had 2 items and was paying cash. There were 2 people ahead of me, one with only a few items as well and the women right in front of me had a cart full. I was in no hurry whatsoever, besides no other lanes were open. She glanced back at me and said “is that all you have?” “yes it is” I said. She giggled and said “now you get on up here and go before me.” We exchanged pleasantries and off I went. I thought of that woman all day at how unselfish she was and without even thinking about it let me go first. Of course she did not need to, she was in line first. It is the fact she considered someone before her and offered with a smile to allow me to go before her. It may seem dumb, but that woman is unfortunately rare. A person who realizes others needs and or wants before there own is a diamond and someone to be emulated and respected. Have a good one guys and go out and make someone’s day!
