Computers have changed dating
At first I thought this was a very humorous cartoon but then I realized…OMG that sucks! That cartoon totally shows what is going wrong with the dating scene. Do not get me wrong, I do think dating sites and some of the social networking sites available today are fantastic and can promote “couplings”. However what I think is happening is (as humans often do) we have taken it too far. People have become dependent on Texting and Emailing and basically every non personal form of communication out there other than good ol’ fashioned phone calls and face to face meetings. I lvoe the net and will continue to utilize for many things. However there is nothing than can replace real human communication. If you need a friend, or want to tell someon they are on your mind… CALL them don’t email. AGain, let me reinterate…I love technology but guys it is about balance. It always comes down to that. I think our society is losing it’s sense of reality in computer land and that is not going to be good for anyone. People can get lost in the vast land of the web. Let’s start using out keypads on our phones for more than dropping “notes” start dialing numbers:)
